The fun bit i like to think :) ...so I thought I'd load them up to my blog to keep you updated.

Did you say that's a SCARF?? ...

Funky alternatives to wearing a scarf...

Few images from the many ways a scarf can be worn or used...

Taking multi-functional items into consideration and the interest in the Scarf as a focus point as part of my project, i decided to see just exactly what you could do with a scarf! I must admit the possibilities are ENDLESS...what can't you do with a scarf?? Wear them as pants!? I thought that but the scarf hits back and proves us wrong, indeed you can sport the genie look and wear them as harem pants if you wish. Shocking, a scarf as pants! This is were i have come to the conclusion that the scarf should be the No.1 staple item in everyone wardrobe. Trust me it will liven up any outfit and give it that va va voooom it was missing.

Just a few of the MANY ways you can use a scarf:
1.As a scarf (many various ways of wearing it, fastening it etc)
2.As a fashionable turban
3.As a bag accessory
4.As a poncho
5.As a hair accessory
6.As a dress
7.As a skirt
8.As a neckerchief
9.As a bandanna
10.As a sarong

These are just basic ones to name a few...I'm not giving it all away ;)think of your own. Ha.

Junk Shop ...

I have been meaning to put these images up from nearly 2 weeks ago! But finally here they are...these are just a few images taken from when Myself and Liz visited JUNK SHOP. The quirky little shop right on Manchester's doorstep was full to the brim with funky customised sustainable fashion garments to hand made trinkets, each wall is covered with something that will catch your eye (image above of an example of a humorous painting on one of the walls of the shop) Not only do they have rails full of retro re-makes with a brilliant story behind them they also offer a number of courses to help further your skills from sustainable fashion courses to a 1 day induction to your sewing machine! What is not to love about this shop? There's nothing!.. even the staff so welcoming and couldn't of been more helpful when we started to interrogate them with our inquisitive questions :)
Take a look yourself ... www.junkshopuk.com or visit them in the Northern Qtr, Manchester.

Thursday 4th March...

So far iv had a very productive day, and I'm quiet pleased with myself...UP UP and away it is (after being stuck in a rut!)
Today on my Internet travels i stumbled across A'N'D (Azumi and David) and their 'things to wear' collection. You could say they take multifunctional to another level! Their design and work ethic is truly inspiring and the work they create is fascinating, they manage to add both praticallity and quirkiness into the mix with still being passionate about the main cause at hand. I would like to personally thank A'N'D for thier best wishes and most of all for allowing me to use thier images in my blog. ThankYou.
